History
S.I.M. Machine Tools is a reputable family business that has been trading in machine tools for over twenty five years. Established in 1982, the company quickly established a national and international reputation as a leading supplier in not only quality pre-owned machine tools but also as a major world-wide supplier of automotive production machinery.
Location
S.I.M. Machine Tools are based in Darwen and Blackburn, Lancashire in the North West of England. Located within close proximity to Junction 4 of the M65 motorway, it provides us with easy access to the main motorway networks of the M6 and M62. Facilities
You are welcome to view the large and comprehensive range of used machinery, crankshaft machines, camshaft machines and sheet metal machinery that we have available for customers to inspect under power upon request.
We have two warehouse facilities comprising of a combined area of 30,000 square feet, complete with overhead cranage of up to 30 ton capacity. Our forklift trucks and associated lifting equipment allows us not only to service our own logistical requirements but also offer a valuable facility to our customers. Our warehouses are also used for the packing of machinery and equipment into general purpose, open top or flat rack shipping containers for export worldwide.
Storage
We can also offer the use of our storage facility to commercial clients to store and warehouse any type of industrial machinery and equipment. For further details, click here.
Export
Many of our customers are from overseas and we welcome enquiries from abroad. We can offer numerous services to our overseas customers whose businesses we value greatly and prices can be quoted on an EX. WORKS, FOB, C&F or CIF basis.
Due to having exported many of our machine tools not just throughout Europe but also to the USA, Canada, India, Turkey and the Middle and Far East, we possess the knowledge and a thorough understanding of the needs of the international buyer. We can provide a complete package to our customers from the inspection, insurance, safe packing and shipment of the machines, to the administration of the necessary export documentation. We have overseen the shipment of hundreds of containers to destinations world-wide, therefore you can be assured of a high quality and reliable service.
